Tabla Rasa Gallery is happy to accept checks made out directly to Playpumps International, with 100% of the proceeds going to Playpumps International.

Playpumps International has also created a special indication for on-line donations resulting from the PUMP IT UP! outdoor "Paint-in" event, at Tabla Rasa Gallery.

We thank those the participating artists and visitors and hope you will continue to help us raise funds for the installation of desperately needed water pumps, powered by children's playground equipment, for remote villages in Africa.
The 2 minute video on the http://www.playpumps.org/ website link will clarify how the ingeniously simple system works.
Tabla Rasa Gallery is donating all organizing, administrative, promotional and event-related expenses.
We are appreciative of the generous in-kind donations (Dick Blick Artists Supplies), support for materials (Rush Philanthropic) and individual pledges that we have already received.

Artists Danny Simmons and Daniel Scheffer led in producing a large mural artpiece.
At the end of the day, the mural was cut up and for a donation of $50 per square foot the donors were given  a piece of this artwork.
Donors are encouraged to donate more and receive more square footage of this memorable keepsake and make a greater contribution to the Playpump.org cause.

Playpumps International has created an on-line donation link for the PUMP IT UP! outdoor "Paint-in" event on October 7, at Tabla Rasa Gallery:
www.playpumps.org/tablarasa

There is still time to make a donation.

We encourged sponsorship at theses levels:
$ 50, $100, $150, $200, $500, $ etc

Any and All Donations make a difference.

Tabla Rasa Gallery is pleased to present a discussion,
"What is Original Art?,"
led by master printmaker Agnes Murray, on contemporary printmaking
 Saturday, February 10, 2007 at 2:00 pm.
This lively and informative presentation is FREE and open to the public

In conjunction with the exhibition, THE BIG PRINT SHOW, at Tabla Rasa Gallery, master printmaker and painter, Agnes Murray will lead a lively and informative discussion on contemporary printmaking, "What is Original Art?," on Saturday, February 10, 2007 at 2:00 pm. The exhibition illustrates the expansive and widely inclusive nature of printed art in our times. The talk should enhance the audience's understanding of printmaking forms, from traditional relief, intaglio, lithography and screenprinting as well as a discussion focusing on contemporary digital prints. Participants will discuss how to look at prints including the differences between original and reproductive prints and what is a limited edition as part of the overall discussion of "what is original art." Free reference materials with suggestions for additional source materials on printmaking will be provided to all those who attend.
